Cub Scouting

August 1, 2011

Through Cub Scouting, boys can see and learn fun, new things they can’t get anywhere else.

For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own pinewood derby® car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a family campout, boys LOVE being a Cub Scout. The program is for first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years old.

Visit www.BeAScout.org and enter your zip code to find Scouting near you, and let the fun begin.

These Cub Scouts are enjoying a day of fishing together!

If you are already involved in Cub Scouts as a leader and you are looking for resources, please comment below. Do you need ideas for den and pack meetings? Do you have enough parents to help run the pack? What tips can you offer other parents getting started in Cub Scouts?
