Tornado Help – New information in from local Scoutmaster

October 8, 2013

We have contacted all of the scout families and, while everyone was shook up a bit, they are all doing fine. The boys, of course, were impervious. We have all sorts of families involved in the recovery process. We had a nurse who was responsible for a lot of the rescues. It is so cool to see that more often than not, our scouting parents are the ones stepping up!

If you could, forward this out to the other leaders.  The 211 number has not been working.  Those who want to volunteer or donate can contact 402.833.1800. The city has crews working now picking up the fields. They will need help with debris pickup, tree trimming, hauling, answering the hotline, team/crew leaders, food delivery, etc.

Thanks to everyone for their help and for willing to step up and help out!
