Boy Scouts to Honor Military Veterans with Free Breakfast on Flag Day, June 14

(Omaha, Nebr.) – June 5, 2014 – The Boy Scouts of America, Mid-America Council is hosting a free breakfast to honor our military veterans on Flag Day, Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Omaha National Guard Armory, 6929 Mercy Rd., Omaha, NE 68106.

Breakfast starts at 8:00 a.m. with a short program. Rob McCartney, from KETV Channel 7 News will emcee introducing Admiral Haney, Commander of USSTRATCOM, as keynote speaker, and guest speakers 6th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Jim McCoy, and Wounded Warrior Justin Anderson.

At the conclusion of the event everyone is invited to participate in a flag retirement ceremony on site. Space is limited to the first 400 participants. Families of deployed military are also invited to attend.
